Join Blaenau Gwent Heritage Forum for their annual Heritage Day at Bedwellty House this autumn.
This year’s Heritage Day will be looking at Law & Order in South Wales. Four guest speakers have been invited to provide talks throughout the day, which will cover a fascinating variety of law and disorder topics from times gone by:
Chris Parry – China in Merthyr Tydfil
Tony Hopkins – Law and Disorder in Monmouthshire, the Quarter Session Courts
Elizabeth Belcham – Swansea’s ‘Bad Girls’, Crime and Prostitution 1870s-1914
Viv Pugh – Dic Penderyn
There will also be displays from a range of local museums to view.
