There are many opportunities to become involved at Bedwellty House and Park. Whatever your skills or interests, there is probably a volunteering role waiting just for you!
As a Bedwellty Volunteer, you will meet other interesting people and make new experiences in a fun, supportive environment. You can share the expertise that you have gained throughout your life or gain confidence for getting back into work. Whether you are looking to learn new skills or whether you just want to help, as a Bedwellty Volunteer your contribution will make a real difference.
Gardening
The Friends of Bedwellty Park provide invaluable support in helping our grounds team maintain the park to the highest possible standard.
The Friends provide support and encouragement, and welcome both gardening wizards and novices!
There are tasks to match your physical abilities; all you need is the ability to work outdoors.
The Friends of Bedwellty Park meet every Tuesday at 10.00am so why not pop along, introduce yourself and you’ll be sure of a warm welcome.
event steward
As an event steward you will be a key member of our events team. You will help us with setting up event areas, managing visitors, and clearing up the site when the event is over. This role includes some light physical activity. You will also need to be able to work under pressure and still maintain a friendly, positive attitude. If you enjoy working as part of a tight team, then this role is right for you.
